Islamic finance

Islamic finance refers to financial activities and products that comply with Islamic law (Sharia). It prohibits interest (riba), excessive uncertainty (gharar), and investments in businesses that are considered haram (forbidden), such as alcohol and gambling. Instead, it promotes risk-sharing, ethical investments, and profit-and-loss sharing arrangements.
